Imagine feeling less anxious and experiencing a renewed sense of calm in your daily life.  As you learn to identify your triggers and develop new coping skills, you feel more confident and hopeful about creating lasting change. About Me

Hello! I’m Bella Bowers, an Associate Professional Counselor.  I enjoy helping clients better understand and navigate anxiety, grief, life transitions, relationship issues, and the impact of trauma. I work with individuals and couples, ages 18 and up, and am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), a proven technique for processing trauma and distressing memories.

In sessions, I like to utilize a Humanistic approach, which means that I like to aid my clients in identifying their strengths and capacity to grow. I believe that you are the expert of your own life and that together, we can identify and work toward the goals that matter most to you. My desire is to empower you to create meaningful change and take control of your own healing process.

My Approach to Therapy
As a therapist, I view my role as providing support, perspective, and tools to help you navigate life’s challenges. To do this, I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, and EMDR.

For every session, I seek to create a warm and inviting space where you feel comfortable exploring your thoughts, feelings, and goals. It’s important to me that you feel at ease to discuss and explore change. Therapy is a space for open, non-judgmental conversation, and I am committed to fostering an environment that is safe for all cultural backgrounds, gender identities, and sexual orientations.

Why Work With Me

Together, we will explore who you are, the patterns that shape your relationships, and the coping strategies that best serve you. I’ll help you develop healthier communication skills, strengthen your resilience, and work through the challenges that hold you back from living the life you want.

I’m here to support you in your journey toward self-discovery and growth, and I’ll advocate for your well-being every step of the way. I believe in the power of therapy to not only provide immediate relief but also to lay the foundation for lasting change and personal empowerment. Please reach out if you'd like to schedule a consultation or begin therapy. I'd love to hear from you!
