GET TO KNOW ME

Hi! I'm Taylor, and I'm an Associate Professional Counselor.

My Approach to Therapy: I strive to create an authentic and supportive therapeutic environment. In our work together, I offer a space where you feel heard, valued, and fully accepted. I believe your story matters and that healing often begins by exploring how your experiences have influenced the way you relate to yourself, others, and your environment. Together, we can look at the patterns that might be keeping you stuck and make room for healing and clarity.

I believe the past—especially the painful parts—can shape how you see yourself and the world around you. But it doesn’t have to define you or determine your future. While I honor the impact of past experiences, I help you move forward with clarity, self-understanding, and a renewed sense of possibility. A big part of my work is helping you recognize and unlearn negative beliefs about yourself—whether those come from family, society, trauma, or self-doubt—and supporting you as you rewrite those narratives.

About Me: I received my B.S. in Psychology from Georgia Tech and my M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adams State University in Colorado. I have training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Polyvagal Theory, and Motivational Interviewing. These approaches all influence my trauma-informed, person- centered approach to therapy, helping you feel empowered and supported in your healing journey.

When I'm not working, you can find me somewhere outdoors, looking for a new hiking trail, drinking hot tea, reading, or listening to a neuroscience podcast.

Fee: $100 - $150 per 50 minute session
*I do not take insurance, though I offer sliding scale options and superbills if you have out-of-network benefits you'd like to take advantage of and pay full fee.
