I am an Associate Professional Counselor under Supervision of Sue Foster, LPC (LPC001926).
I specialize in working with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, trauma, life transitions, spirituality, and self-esteem concerns. I also have a heart for supporting military veterans. I believe in the healing power of connection—and that movement, mindfulness, and creative expression can help us feel more grounded and empowered. I have advanced training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing).
GET TO KNOW ME
Hi and welcome! I’m Megan.
I’m passionate about creating a safe & authentic space where you can explore what’s weighing on you and reconnect with what makes you feel most alive. I work with adolescents (ages 10 and up) and adults navigating anxiety, trauma, life transitions, spirituality, and self-esteem concerns. I also have a deep heart for supporting military veterans and their families.
My approach is collaborative and compassionate, blending person-centered, somatic, expressive art therapies, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I believe that therapy isn’t about “fixing” yourself — it’s about rediscovering your voice, your creativity, and your sense of self. I often weave movement, mindfulness, and creative expression into sessions to help clients feel grounded, connected, and empowered in their healing process.
I have advanced training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and integrate EMDR into my work as needed. This approach can be especially effective for trauma, anxiety, and distressing life experiences that feel “stuck” in the body.
Before becoming a therapist, I served in the military — an experience that shaped my deep respect for resilience, connection, and the courage it takes to heal. As a veteran myself, I understand the importance of being truly seen and supported, and I’m honored to walk alongside those navigating similar transitions and challenges.
I earned my Master of Science in Counseling with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and am a National Certified Counselor (NCC). My work is grounded in authenticity, humor, and heart — because I believe therapy should feel like a conversation with someone who genuinely gets you and believes in your potential for growth.
When I’m not in session, you can usually find me chasing after my three kids, creating art, moving my body, or enjoying time outdoors. I love finding beauty in the small, everyday moments and helping others learn to do the same.
Fee: $80 - $135 per 50 minute session
*I do not take insurance, though I offer sliding scale options and superbills if you have out-of-network benefits you'd like to take advantage of and pay full fee.
