GET TO KNOW ME
Hi, I'm Kallie — I'm so glad you're here.

As a pre-licensed professional counselor, I bring a compassionate and holistic approach to the work I do. I believe that healing and personal growth happens when we feel safe, seen, and supported and my goal is to create that kind of space for you. I draw from a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Attachment Theory, to meet you where you are and support your unique journey.

I also deeply believe in the mind-body-spirit connection. Healing isn’t just something that happens in our minds, it’s something we feel in our bodies and experience in our whole selves. That’s why I often incorporate somatic movement and creative expression, such as art therapy, to help clients tap into their body’s wisdom, express emotions, and develop deeper self-awareness in meaningful, grounded ways.

I approach therapy from a place of cultural humility, honoring each person’s lived experience. I welcome and support clients from diverse backgrounds and identities, including those navigating faith and religious values, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and those from a variety of cultural or family traditions. I work with children (ages 7+), teens, adults, couples, and families. I am Gottman Level 1 trained and offer support for couples looking to strengthen their relationships. Through ACT, I help clients clarify their values and move toward living in alignment with them.

I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, attachment wounds, difficulty with life transitions, and challenges navigating parenthood. Supporting individuals with OCD, PTSD, Autism, ADHD, and learning differences such as Dyslexia is a meaningful part of my work and an area of special interest in my practice. In addition to my counseling training, I am certified in Psychological First Aid, which helps me provide compassionate, stabilizing support in times of crisis.
Therapy with me is collaborative, gentle, and (sometimes!) even a little fun. My hope is that you'll leave each session feeling more connected to yourself, your story, and the possibilities ahead.
